As you probably read in Rory's email, he is stepping down as an ST for now. I will be taking over those responsibilities.

Here are some answers to what I anticipate will be the most common questions:

1. Will the game continue?

Yes. I plan to continue running the game in its current continuity starting two months after the last game.

2. Will you be changing the game?

I will change it only slowing for the rest of the year. I plan to do minor tweaking of things mostly for balancing or rule clarification, and some administrative things.

Early next year, I hope to roll out a revision to Rory and Jim's system and introduce some new character options.

3. Will the game stay firefly themed?

Mostly yes, at least the core of it. However, I do not believe that firefly makes a great LARP because it is too one-sided. So from now until the end of the year, players will witness a galaxy changing event that will start to redraw loyalties.

4. What will happen to current characters?

Their adventures and misadventures continue :)

5. Rory did not allow it, but can I have ...?

No.

6. Will Rory still be involved?

That is completely up to him. The door is always open for whatever he wants to do. But for now, he will simply have fun in the world he and Jim created.
